We even sterilize the compressed air used in our factory so that pollens and outside contaminants are never forced into mattresses during normal manufacturing processes. Not only are all our mattresses made in the USA, but we also purchase our organic raw materials from American organic farmers and industries. Manufacturing our natural rubber cores in America also prevents the risk of contamination from fumigation (which all ships coming into North American ports are exposed to). All of our mattresses meet the stringent criteria of the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI). GEI’s mission is to boost public health and quality of life through programs that improve indoor air quality. OrganicPedic® mattresses are the first, and only, natural rubber mattresses to receive the coveted GEI certifications. OrganicPedic® mattresses are also the first organic mattresses to offer the opportunity to obtain LEED credits. Our ability to participate in the LEED rating program is a direct result of our third-party emission testing and certification given to us by GEI. OrganicPedic® mattresses meet all federal, state, and even Canadian flammability requirements organically. No chemical fire-retardant fills or barriers are used in our products. Our mattresses were tested by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission in May 2008, and meet all flammability performance criteria under CPSC Statutes 1632 and 1633.

Our premium, cruelty-free organic Eco-Wool™ is humanely shorn from free-grazed, hormone-free, homeopathically raised California sheep that graze in pesticide-free meadows, and processed under strict purity controls. Wool is a great natural temperature regulator, keeping the body warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Wool is also a resilient, durable fiber, and is naturally flame resistant, allowing us to meet all federal flammability standards without the use of chemical fire retardants.
100% Natural Rubber Latex
Our natural rubber latex cores come from sustainably harvested rubber-tree sap, and are imported as a powder, then made here in the USA so none of our cores are ever subject to the fumigation required on imported products. We use only pure (non-blended), 100%-natural Talalay-process rubber.
